| James Michael Clark (January 23, 1868-August 22, 1927) | |
| James Clark, aged 58, died at the Dickinson Hospital last night at 8:15, following a two day illness with Pneumonia. He leaves a widow, who was Mary A. Cashman of Florence; three sons, Leo, John and William of this city; two daughters, Mrs. Wilbur Cleary of this city and Mrs. Walter p,. Dobler of Springfield; one sister, Mrs. T.A. McCarthy of Florence and four grandchildren. Mr. Clark was employed for several years as an inspector at Clement Mfg. Co. of Bay State. As a youth, he was one of the best all round athletes of Hampshire County. He was captain of the W.A. Baily running team, being particularly fast in the one hundred yard dash and other sprints. He was also a noted broad jumper. He was a member of the Society of the Royal Arcanum of Florence, the Holy Name Society and a devout communicant of the
Blessed Sacrament Church. Through all of these affiliations, he made a host of friends in this city. The funeral will be held at 8:30 o'clock from the home , 278 Riverside Drive, Bay State, followed by a solemn high mass and requiem at the Blessed Sacrament Church at 9:00. Burial will be at the family lot at St. Mary's Cemetery.

| 5/4/1895-Her many friends were pained to hear of the death of Mrs. John Clark this morning, after short illness due to Heart trouble. Mrs. Clark has been in poor health for some time, yet the end was hardly realized to be so near. The deceased has won many warm friends during her long residence here and the entire community tender their sincerest sympathy to the bereaved family. She leaves besides her husband, five children, James, William, Thomas, and Miss Jennie and Mrs. E. Becket. The funeral will be held Monday forenoon.

| Cornelius M. Cashman | |
| Cornelius Cashman, aged 70, died at the home of his daughter on Park Street at an early hour this morning. Mr. Cashman was born in County Cork, Ireland and came to this country 32 years ago, all of which time he has spent in Florence where he has been known to nearly everyone in town as the kindly good-natured man that he was. Mr. Cashman was employed for 30 years by the Parsons family. Besides his wife who survives him, there are six children, Mrs. E.J. Halloran of New Britain, Mrs. James M. Clark of Bay State, Mrs. J.J. Miller of Charlotte, New York, Mrs. John E. Foran of Park Street with whom Mr. Cashman lived, Daniel B. of Poughkeepsie, New York and Roger of California. | |

| William C. Clark, 55 of 453 Blue Hills Ave., died at St. Francis Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Northampton, Massachusetts, son of the late James Clark and Mary Cashman and lived in Hartford 25 years. He leaves his wife Natalie Coffron Clark; four sons, James T. Clark of Thompsonville, William F. Clark and Thomas G. Clark of Fort Dix, New Jersey. Three daughters, Mrs. Theodore Federko of Newton and Mrs. James Bills and Mrs. Susan Clark of Hartford. Two brothers, John Clark of Easthampton, Massachusetts and Leo Clark of Northampton, Massachusetts. Two sisters, Mrs. Walter Dobler of Hartford and Mrs. Wilbur Cleary of Palmer, Massachusetts. and six grandchildren. Funeral services will b be held Wednesday at 8:15 am at the O'Brien Funeral home, 104 Main Street with a solemn requiem Mass at St. Justin's Church at 9:00 am. Burial will be in St. Benedict Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. | |
