The Clarks

                                 I have no records pertaining to parents and siblings of my gg-grandfather John Clark.

                                 What we know: According to his naturalization record John Clark was granted citizenship at Greenfield, 

                                 Massachusetts on August 21, 1876. The record states he was born in Liverpool, England.  Apparently 

                                 he emigrated to the United States by way of Liverpool and New Orleans in 1850. He served a short stint in the

                                Civil War. He abandoned his post after just one months service. John worked in cutlery's for  the best part of his adult life.

                                 Beyond that, we know little about him that can be verified by way of public records. The same can be said regarding 

                                 Hannorah, who was the daughter of Daniel Madigan and Catherine Wallace of Robertstown,  County Limerick.

                                  as O'Connor. According to the Census of  1860 they resided in Greenfield. I have been unable to locate a death

                                  certificate for Michael.
